Attendees range from the novice who is brand new to WordPress, to the savvy WordPress power user, to advanced designers and developers who make their living with WordPress.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>When and where is the WordCamp?<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">WordCamp Manila 2018 is happening on Sept 8, 2018 at the iAcademy Plaza. Learn more about the location <a href=\"https:\/\/2018.manila.wordcamp.org\/location\/\">here<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>All About Tickets<\/h3>\n<p><b>How do I get tickets?<\/b><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You\u2019ll need a Paypal account or credit card to purchase tickets. If you don\u2019t have one of those, you can go to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/paymaya.com\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">PayMaya.com<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and create a virtual card, then load it in 7-11 stores.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Tickets were available at our Tickets page until Aug 31. WordCamp tickets have SOLD OUT!<\/p>\n<p><b>What will the ticket include?<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Your PH\u20b1700 ticket includes a full day of excellent WordPress talks, lunch, snacks and drinks, a t-shirt, and WordPress swag.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Can I get a receipt?<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Yes. When you registered, you would have been sent a Paypal receipt. If this is not enough, send us a message at manila@wordcamp.org and we can send you a ticket purchase receipt via email. Please note that all funds are coursed through the global WordCamp Community Support, so this is not the typical Official Receipt in the Philippines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Do I need to print my ticket?<\/strong><br \/>\nPlease don&#8217;t! \ud83d\ude42 When you get to the venue, present the email on your phone along with a valid ID and we&#8217;ll give you your event badge.<\/p>\n<p><b>Will you accept walk-ins?<\/b><br \/>\nWordCamp tickets are SOLD OUT so I&#8217;m afraid that we cannot accept walk-ins. You can <a href=\"https:\/\/2018.manila.wordcamp.org\/2018\/09\/01\/registration-is-now-closed\/\">sign up for the waitlist<\/a> to be notified if slots open up. Please note: signing up for the waitlist does NOT guarantee entry!<\/p>\n<p><b>I wasn\u2019t able to get a ticket! What do I do?<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You can follow along by following @WordCampManila on Twitter and watching the official hashtag #WCMNL2018 and #WCMNL. Watch out for the videos at WordCamp.TV, join the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.meetup.com\/Manila-WordPress-Meetup\/\">meetups<\/a>, and make sure you follow us on <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/wordcampmanila\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Twitter<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/wpugph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Facebook<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/wpugph\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Instagram<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> so that you won\u2019t miss out next year!<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Preparing for the WordCamp<\/h3>\n<p><b>What should I bring?<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Valid ID. Registration starts at 7:45AM! No need to print your tickets, but be sure to bring a valid ID.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Internet. To ensure that you have fast, uninterrupted internet connection, we strongly advise attendees to bring their own wireless internet connection. We\u2019ve found that SMART LTE is the most reliable provider in this particular location.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Your own laptop. If you are attending the workshop for beginners or plan to take notes using your laptop, be sure to bring your own fully powered laptop. Please note that we have limited tables, so come early if you&#8217;re using a laptop, or bring a good ol&#8217; paper notebook instead.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Extension cords. Power outlets are limited in the main Auditorium and are only available at the sides for safety reasons. You can bring your own extension cords if they want your devices continuously powered up.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>Will there be parking?<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The building\u2019s parking is limited and is reserved for iAcadmy staff, so we advise folks to use the pay parking at <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/TUXL9xFUxVw\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Cash and Carry<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> then walk to iAcademy Nexus. You can als grab a cab to the venue instead.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>What&#8217;s the program?<\/strong><br \/>\nCheck out the <a href=\"https:\/\/2018.manila.wordcamp.org\/schedule\/\">schedule page<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p><strong>What should I wear? Is there a dress code?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Please dress appropriately, since our venue is an excellent school building. Your fave shirt and jeans will be your best bet. These are not allowed at the venue: plunging necklines, sleeveless shirts and sando, see-through clothing, graphic tops with inappropriate messages, shorts, slippers, and sandals. As a sign of respect, please do not wear caps and hats inside the rooms.<\/p>\n<p><b>What should I do at the WordCamp?<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Always wear your WordCamp Badge. For security and as a general rule, always wear your WordCamp badge when inside the event venue.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Be mindful of our <a href=\"https:\/\/2018.manila.wordcamp.org\/code-of-conduct\/\">WordCamp Code of Conduct<\/a>. All attendees are expected to abide by the Code of Conduct to ensure a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Have fun! \u00a0WordCamps are a celebration of the WordPress community. So make sure to mingle and interact with your fellow attendees. Please note that it is the discretion of the speaker if he\/she will want to provide the slides.
